The logo mark was developed for newspaper inserts, ads and promotional events held throughout the U.S. The client wanted the mark to represent the contemporary image and attitude of Lucky Strike cigarettes. The logo was used on a multitude of promotional premiums (matches, coasters, t-shirts, cups, napkins). The image was fabricated into a 7-foot metal sculpture and hung on the wall of a nightclub. I also created an array of graphic images that were to be projected on the interior walls of nightclubs. I was brought late into the project after the creative director realized that the current concepts were not working. The pitch was taking place the very next morning--I created two logo marks that evening. Lucky Strike absolutely loved it!
